It reminded me of the jewish family that lived across the street from us on Santa Ynez in Vegas. I guess I was about 9 or 10 years old....The father was a band leader at the old Dunes Hotel and they introduced me to the jewish faith, which I think is a beautiful religion..and some darn good jewish food, especially their chicken and matzo balls.
