While looking online, for the picture of the sweater pattern I’m knitting from an older issue of Creative Knitting magazine, I ran into another knitster’s blog, Creative Swoon. I love that name! Scrolling the older posts, a picture of typeface caught my eye….. and the video recommended, caught my heart. The [...]

These Boots Were Made For Walkin…..

I’ve been trying to come up with something to give my husband for his Birthday and Christmas. Just this past week, in re-arranging bedrooms, I left a bucket on the floor containing 2″ sash rods. They were sticking out yet pointed with their ends to a cabinet. You know, it’s one of [...]

We had a really nice Thanksgiving day with our family. Slobo and I had prepared dinner for 11 people and it seems to have gone okay. I don’t think tho, I’ll be volunteering to host everyone together again tho. This was a weird year. Normally, Slobo and I go to my [...]

One of my annual fall projects are making the boys’ jackets for winter. This year, our 9 yr. old decided he wanted a McGyver jacket! Yes, he is a McGyver addict. He used his money to buy himself the series on DVD and then presented me with faux leather he bought at [...]
