One of the neat perks of doing paid posts is you get freebies every now and then if you are willing to do a review of the company’s product. A few weeks ago, I was selected to do a review for some custom wooden blinds. That was awesome, as we needed a blind for our living room window. Slobo put them up for me this week and they are so pretty!!!

It was very easy to order the Blinds from www.blindschalet.com. I ordered the Pecan wood blinds. They are real wood blinds. In fact, when the light shines in, you can see the knot holes in the wood clearly. They operate very smoothly with a pull draw cord too. I had wood blinds in our former house and missed them very much. Now I need to get more blogging done so we can order some more by spring!!!

The blinds came well packaged. Slobo did not see the instructions sheet before putting them up. He’s done enough blinds tho, that they went up very quickly and easily. They even came with the valance piece to cover the hardware at the top. We liked the way this fit on. In our former home, the valances would always fall down if we let the blind come down too quickly. lol. You always had to hold your hand over your head just in case when putting them down for the night. They were over 30 years old tho, and still just as beautiful. If you want a blind that won’t need to be replaced within the next 10 years or more, I highly recommend wooden blinds. The finishes stay nice for a very long time.

It was a pleasure working with the blinds chalet and I will definitely be ordering more blinds from them!
