That’s what I keep hearing Slobo asking!
Just about every year, we would go to Panama City Beach in Fla. Before I met Slobo, I used to run away to the beach whenever I had an extra 100 or 2 and a long weekend. I would go to either Panama City, Jekyll Island, the Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head, Nag’s Head, Chesapeake Bay, it didn’t matter. If it had water, a shore line and was within a day’s drive - that was it!
Yesterday, I caught Slo whispering to the kids that we could maybe sneak down to the beach. My first thought was the mountains. But, ahh, the site of that picture makes me want to find some Outer Banks and look for sand dollars. Yep - Sand between my toes - salty water sticking to my sunburnt skin …. Yep - Gidge, Moondoggy and the little moonpups!
