We went to Wally world yesterday and found that school supplies are on sale again already. The public schools are going back to school here in 3 weeks. The crayons, notebook paper and such stuff were 20 cents each. I also need to go by and get some office supplies. The kids have been doing alot of science activities using paperclips, rubber bands, and that sort of thing. Since this is the month for the sales, I’m hoping there will be some good sales on those, too.

In the mail today, I received the educator’s reference book for a new PBS show Design Squad. Their tagline is “Inspiring a new generation of engineers.” It is all about engineering challenges for kids 9 to 12 years old and looks like it will be alot of fun for the boys this season. I am hoping to include some of their challenges into the kids cirriculum for this coming year. You might want to check it out.
