When I first got online in the 90′s, it was new and exciting. I’ll never forget video-chatting with IT Professionals in Lithuania for the first time from my Dining Room, or the first online worldwide New Year’s celebration in a chat room. My husband and I met on the internet 11? years ago. I saw places I’d never have seen without the internet. Much of my first career was internet based. Still, the time has come when I miss holding a printed book in my hand or printing one for that matter. Maybe this is the 70′s equivalent to having a phone jack in your bathroom. I’ve never been one to sit on the phone, while I have been known to sit on the internet all night. Each generation has it’s vices, I guess.
