My Toddle is officially Big Boy!
May 8th, 2006 | By Gidget | Category: WishingOur baby today, turned five years old. To me, this means the end of toddles…. To him it means the beginning of true big boy status. I tucked him in tonight with his new pooh and piglet that his brother and I made for him, thankful that for awhile, he still loves pooh.

Being a mom is really tough, especially knowing what awaits him this year as he steps into that 100 acre, and begins to face his own ephalumps and woozles. What will I do when he turns 13, 18, 21……………………. Sew myself an eeyore, I suppose.

Awwww….happy birthday, little guy. Things only get more interesting and fun as they get older, though the process certainly is bittersweet.
Thanks for stopping by, and I’m glad I was able to help you by posting the flap hat link. What kind of clip do you use to keep the hat from being blown away?
Hi Ruth, I just use a cord that is basically a bungee cord with alligator clips at both ends. One clips to the hat – the other to the back collar of the shirt. It’s wonderful for keeping the hats from flying off in the wind. I think I found mine at REI (A hiking/boating center here in Atlanta). But I know they sell the alligator clips at craft centers, you would only need to attach something very short so as not to become an entaglement problem for small kids.
(answered on your site, sewchich , but here also for anyone interested)
They grow up soooo fast. My little guy just turned four. I miss him as a baby but not as a two year old.
