This is yet another Sandra Betzina pattern. I bought this pattern last year and made it up in the brown boucle’ and stretch denim then. The boucle is itchy and I only wear it when I really want to snuggle down in with a long john under it. The fit feels so great tho, that I made another version, this time in a denim grey speckled fleece and a really soft overlock knit to match.

The first time, the applique was applied on top, this time, I applied it underneath and did the cut-away. I used some blue-grey scrap fleece left over from my sons Christmas P.J.’s and was thrilled with the great color match to the pants. All-in-all, I still really like this pattern and you can’t beat the great big huge kangaroo pocket. My fashion conscious 6 year old told me it should have a seam in the middle of the pocket, but, included that he really doesn’t mind because he likes to hold my hand in it. What love!
